On December 6, 2018, the “Agreement to create the Digital Platform Youth Building the Future” was created, whereby attention will be given to 2 million 300 thousand young people aged 18-29 who are currently not in school and are not holding a job.

The purpose of this Agreement is to offer young people the opportunity for training, a scholarship and activities to strengthen and develop technical capabilities and social-emotional abilities to aid their social inclusion and increase their opportunity to have employment in the future.

Applications to enter this program shall be received through a digital platform whose address is: https://jovenesconstruyendoelfuturo.stps.gob.mx, this is the means of interaction between Tutors (companies) and grant holders (participating youth).

There are two modes whereby aid will be given to participating youth, which are as follows:

  • Scholarship:

Consist of securing for them an income of $2,400 pesos for low-income youth in order to help them to complete their college studies.

  • Training:

Under this mode, they will be granted a scholarship of $3,600 pesos for up to a year while young people are under training pursuant to their indicated interest and abilities, upon completion of the training they will receive certification.

In order to be a beneficiary of this program, they are to enter the website and register:

  1. Data and interests to be linked to a compatible work center.
  2. Personal and school information for the Department of Public Education to aid in the continuing of their studies through a monthly scholarship.

If you wish to participate in the program as a “Tutor” (companies, Public institutions and social organizations), you also need to register in the platform to sign a collaboration agreement with the Department of Labor and Social Prevision, receive training and later on, follow up on the young persons under training, in addition, evaluate said young people to credit their advance.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any question or clarification in this regard.
