The Director of Incorporation and Tax Collection of the IMSS (Mexican Social Security Institute), José Arturo Lozano Enríquez, announced through social media (Twitter) on April 13th, that employers can now use the Tax Mailbox as a means of communication to send information about campaigns, procedures and services.
In addition, employers can now receive the preliminary monthly and bimonthly Social Security contribution estimate (EMA and EBA, respectively), for all their employer registrations in via the Tax Mailbox. He also provided the following access link https://wwwmat.sat.gob.mx/personas/inicio-sesion, where employers will be able to select “Mis expedientes “, ” Mis documentos ” and click on “IMSS”.
If the employers access their Tax Mailbox through the current Tax Authority portal, http://www.sat.gob.mx/Paginas/Inicio.aspx, they will have to go to the option “Mi Repositorio” and double click on the option of “IMSS.
No information is currently showing when checking these options, however, we will be monitoring announcements made by the Authorities to know when employers will be able to fully use the Tax Mailbox for Social Security purposes.
